Investment Opportunities Henxagri:

Henxagri is in the position to locate investments in forestry, bio-diesel treecrops, and general treecrop commodities. Exclusively eco-friendly projects are considered. Presently there are opportunities for participation in a development in Papua New Guinea and in Zambia.

Interesting Projects:

PAPUA NEW-GUINEA 
Treecrop project: Jatrophas curcas for bio-diesel on 5000 Hectares smallholder land, not in use for food production. The local population is producer and the nucleus estate will extract the oil for conversion to bio-diesel. The project aims to produce 7 million liters of diesel withon 7 years for a total investment of US$ 4,5 million. It will emply 450 small farmers and 50 persons in the central unit.

ZAMBIA 
The treecrop project designed by Henxagri for esthablishing on the grasslands in Northern Zambia, has started up in October 2008. The establishment of oil palm plantations is usually associated with felling and burning of forests, but this oil palm project converts seasonally burning grasslands into a never burning oil palm forest, with obvious gains to environment as carbon sink values are appreciable. The initial stage of development commenced with the laying down of a nursery with 517.000 seedlings.

Planting in the field started in November 2009.

The project has been taken up by ZAMBEEF of Zambia, a stock exchange quoted company, also Zambia's largest agro-industrial enterprise. In due course co-investors will be given the opportunity to participate in this unique development.
